Max is a mobile food truck entrepreneur and is the President of Madd Mex Cantina truck, which brings San Diego style Mexi-Cali food to the Bay Area. The menu includes Carne Asada Fries and Cali Burritos with their own twists, Baja style fish tacos with our special Madd sauce, and Asian-Mexian fusion teriyaki rice bowls. He would like to support his fellow Taiwanese aspiring entrepreneurs reach their potentials, and also make new, valuable connections along the way. Off work, he has passion for tennis, archery, and singing in public.

Benny Shao

Advisor/ Former President 
Benny P. Shao, O.D is a 2001 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry and a 1997 graduate of UC Berkeley. He currently practices optometry in San Jose and Fremont, offering specialty services in vision therapy for binocular vision problems, worsening nearsightedness, and lazy eye. He is one of a handful of optometrists in the Bay Area who is board certified in vision therapy. Benny also has a business as a consultant for implementing patient wellness programs in medical practices. His passions include holistic medicine, music, social networking, and spiritual growth

Emilia Liu

Vice President 

Emilia is currently an insurance Advisor working at Farmers Insurance Group. Specializing in customize a insurance coverage package that fits every family’s financial situation and needs. She is also a life insurance specialist that help customer find the right coverage and budget that both protect and build future retirement through life insurance. Currently held Series 6 and 63, life, and Health. Emilia will work with every client and always put their interest and budget first, because she understand how important  it is to have the right plan to protect one’s hard earn assets and love ones.


Emilia was born in Taiwan but came to California when she was nine. She also enjoy playing badminton, hiking and attending events that able to meet new people and discover new things that are kids friendly in the Bay Area.

Jake Huang

President 
Jake (Chung) Huang is currently a California licensed acupuncture practitioner. He graduated in 2004 from UC San Diego with Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology, and earned his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2007 from South Baylo University. As the founder of Pine Spring Acupuncture Clinic in San Jose, he is a full time practitioner concentrating on sports injuries and stress-mood disorders. In his free time, he is a lead singer in a local band and coaches on voice for local musicians. In addition, he has a great passion toward photography, badminton, and community services.

Sue Yang

Former President and Current Advisor
A music educator and event producer.
​Prior to her relocation to the United States, Ms. Yang served as Instructor, Master Instructor, Author, and Editor for the International Yamaha Music Education Systems. As a live producer and performer, Ms. Yang has produced and performed for the likes of Versace, Asus, and various leading global companies. With over 10 years of experience in her field, Ms. Yang joined the TAJCCNC in 2010 and has since become an active and indispensable resource of our community.

Jamie Chen

​Treasurer 

Jamie Chen graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master’s degree in Marketing. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication, and Public Relations from Shih-Hsin University (Taiwan). With many years of experience in PR, marketing, and project management, Jamie is a professional in marketing/media strategies, event planning, and advertising. As a PR professional, Jamie helped her client company improve their PR value by collaborating with the top 4 newspapers and FHM magazine in Taiwan. She currently works for a semi-conductor company as an account manager in the North America region, collaborating with American customers and factories in China. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys Latin dance, outdoor activities, and is passionate about backpacking and adventure.

Rita Chen

Advisor / Former President 2011-2012
Raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Rita came to the US at age 18 and has been independent ever since. Rita loves socializing and networking, and believes that everything is about connections which make her connect with a lot of entrepreneurs. She has her own business with telecommunication & energy; the partner in Ding ware. Also, she currently works at Facebook as a supply/chain manager. She graduated from the State University of San Francisco with double degrees: a B.S in dietetics and a B.A in consumer family studies. Rita believes that success is earned through hard work and persistence.

Jimmy Cheng

Advisor / Former President 2009-2011
Jimmy Cheng was president of TAJCCNC 2009-2011. His involvement with TAJCCNC began in 2004 when he served as the Secretary General of TACCNC under the guidance and mentorship of former president Mr. John Lin. Jimmy Cheng graduated with MBA in finance at Golden Gate University. Being an entrepreneur, he has left the corporate ladder and started up his multiple business adventure: a Hong Kong trading company, Cosmos Bright Int‘l Limited, is doing international trading business. He also become a real estate broker to serve bay area customers finding their dream homes and manage their investment. His goal with TAJCCNC is to gather young professionals to create their own financial opportunities.

Eric Chang

Secretary General 
Eric loves traveling around the world and programming. He is working on his travel startup, Hummingbird Travel, which helps people find deeply discounted business and first class flights. As a Business Development Officer, he is working closely with President Jake, other Officers and members on the TAJCCNC business seminar series, which aims to help young professionals to start their own business. When he is out of town, you might find him enjoying a dish of foie gras with turnip in a small restaurant in Paris or kayaking at a bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico. Eric graduated from MIT with a degree in Computer Science.

Alex (Yen-Chen) Kuo

Marketing Ops Officer
Yen-Chen Kuo D.C. is a board certified California licensed chiropractor. He currently practices in Campbell city, offering gentle specialty chiropractic service in advanced arthritis, hip and knee replacements, and prior spinal surgery or with multiple accidents (such as car accidents). He is a 2012 graduate from University of California Davis with a B.S. degree in Exercise Biology and a 2015 graduate from Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) with a Doctor of Chiropractor degree. Realizing the significance that a balanced healthy body can bring a better lifestyle, he is currently working with a mentor who provides service combining chiropractic and nutrition. After graduating from LCCW, he is very active in community events to provide complimentary screening to people who need support and help on their health. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking, watching movies, and cooking.

Enpo Tu
Supervisor 

Enpo Tu is a currently a Financial Consultant with AXA Advisors LLC specializing in retirement planning strategies, wealth management, and fee based financial planning. Graduating from U.C. Davis in 2012, he entered finance through work at Bank of America before passing his Series 7, Series 66, and Series 63, and Life and Health examinations. With a clientele that range from high net worth individuals to public school employees, he focuses on tailoring specialized investment strategies with his clients. He joined TAJCCNC in 2013 and has since focused on helping to promote a sense of fraternity among the community.

Ian Wang

Media Officer

Ian Wang graduated from University of Oregon with a BS in Accounting. Ian worked as an auditor at Deloitte and obtained his CPA license at. He is currently working as Sr Revenue Analyst at a public traded Company in South Bay.


In the past, Ian also set up and ran an online store on various popular shopping sites.

Sophie Lin

Ms. Sophie has strong background as entrepreneur and public speaker. She is currently an Unfranchise Owner with SHOP.com which specializes in social shopping with 5000+ affiliate branded stores. Sophie Lin is a partner for Pure Blendz, Inc; Partner of SPL Int'l Inc. She is the founder and first former president of TAJCCNC 2005-2006. She is president of TJCCNA 2011-2012. She coordinate a number of fashion show and fundraisers to benefit various nonprofit organization. Sophie earned her degree in Interior Architectural Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
